HSSC Stenographer Recruitment 2026 Selection Process

The selection process for the HSSC Stenographer will consist of the following stages:

Stage-I: Stenography Skill Test: This stage is qualifying in nature, and only candidates who qualify will be eligible to appear for Stage-II.

Stage-II: Written Examination: The question paper will be bilingual (English & Hindi) and conducted in offline mode.

Candidates will be shortlisted for the written exam based on CET marks merit. The final merit list will be prepared based on the combined marks obtained in the Skill Test and Written Examination.

• The examination will be conducted in offline mode (OMR-based).

The salary for candidates selected under the HSSC Stenographer Recruitment 2026 will be as per the following pay structure. The pay scale ranges from Rs. 19,900 to Rs. 63,200, under Functional Pay Level 2.
