The selection process for Junior Executives, Mechanical / Electrical / Civil / Chemical Engineers, Law Officers, Safety Officers, to Senior Officers/Managers posts comprise Computer-Based Test/ Written Test/ NET Score/ Typing Test, Group Task/ Group Discussion, Psychometric Assessment, Skill Test, Personal Interview, Moot court (only for Law Officers), Physical Fitness Efficiency Test (if applicable). Probation Period after the Selection Process

HPCL Recruitment 2025 Exam Pattern
The HPCL Computer-Based Test (wherever applicable) consists of objective-type questions (subjective as well for Law Officers) and will consist of two parts. i.e., General Aptitude and Technical / Professional Knowledge. The Technical Knowledge section needs 50% marks to qualify for all categories, while overall qualifying marks in the CBT are 60% for UR/EWS and 54% for SC/ST/OBC-NC/PwBD. This pattern is for Engineering, Information Systems Officers, Fire & Safety Officers, Quality Control Officers, HR, and Welfare Officers.
- Both parts have a total of 85 questions.
- You will get 1 mark for each correct answer.
