The DSSS Jail Warder Exam will consist of a total of 200 objective-type multiple-choice questions. DSSSB Jail Warder Salary Structure

The salary for a DSSSB Jail Warder as per the 7th Pay Commission is based on Pay Level-3 with a pay scale of Rs. 21,700 to Rs. 69,100 and a grade pay of Rs. 2,000. After deductions (e.g., EPF, income tax), the initial in-hand salary is approximately Rs. 25,000–Rs. 30,000 per month, depending on allowances and deductions. After completing a 2-year probation period, Jail Warders are eligible for Dearness Allowance (DA), HRA, Transport Allowance (TA), and Medical Allowances.
