DSSSB Domestic Science Teacher Syllabus and Exam Pattern 2026, Download Syllabus PDF

The Delhi Subordinate Service Selection Board (DSSSB) is going to recruit eligible candidates for a total of 129 Domestic Science Teacher (42/26) vacancies. The eligible candidates who will be applying for the post have to go through a computer-based test (CBT), for which understanding the syllabus as well as the exam is important. Knowing the syllabus in advance helps candidates to focus on the relevant topics while preparing rather than wasting their time on irrelevant topics.

The DSSSB Domestic Science Teacher 2026 Exam will be conducted online in a computer-based test mode, including questions from General Awareness, General Intelligence & Reasoning Ability, Arithmetical & Numerical Ability, Test of Hindi Language & Comprehension, Test of English Language &Comprehension, and the subject concerned.

DSSSB Domestic Science Teacher Exam Pattern 2026

The DSSSB Domestic Science Teacher Exam 2026 will be conducted online in computer-based test mode and will mainly include 2 sections, i.e., Section A and Section B. In the CBT Exam, a total of 100 questions will be asked in each section for 100 marks. The duration of the exam will be 2 hours. Each question will carry 1 mark, and there is a negative marking of 0.25 mark for each incorrect answer.

The DSSSB Domestic Science Teacher exam syllabus is divided into two sections- Section A (General Aptitude) and Section B (Subject Concerned and Teaching Methodology), and both sections carry 100 marks each. Below is the syllabus section-wise.
