DRDO INMAS Apprentice Recruitment 2026

The recruitment process for Apprentices is being conducted for the Financial Year 2026-27. The selected candidates will undergo a 12-month training period, which will begin from the date of execution of the Apprenticeship Contract. Candidates must note that the apprenticeship is training-based and does not guarantee permanent employment after the completion of tenure.

DRDO INMAS Apprentice Vacancy 2026

In the notification, DRDO INMAS has given the vacancy distribution post-wise. Among the three categories of Apprentices category, Graduate apprentices have 25 vacancies, ITI Apprentices have 4 vacancies, and Diploma
Apprentices have 90 vacancies.

DRDO INMAS Eligibility Criteria 2026

Candidates who are interested in this recruitment must go through the eligibility criteria in terms of educational qualification, pass-out year, age norms, and reservation rules. Only those candidates who meet the eligibility conditions will be considered for apprenticeship training.

Educational Qualification

To apply for this recruitment, candidates must possess an ITI, a Diploma, or a graduate-level qualification in the relevant stream. The qualifications must have been obtained from a recognized university. Only fresh pass-out candidates from 2022 onwards are eligible to apply.

Reservation Benefits

DRDO INMAS will provide reservation benefits to candidates as per the Apprentices Act 1961 and Apprenticeship Act 1962. Candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC-NCL, EWS, and PwBD categories must submit a valid category certificate in the prescribed format to avail themselves of the reservation benefits.

Steps to Apply Online for DRDO INMAS Apprentices Recruitment 2026

Candidates must complete their application form with personal, academic, caste, and other details, and upload relevant documents. They must apply much before the last date, as on 30th April 2026, to avoid unnecessary technical issues.

1. Open any internet browser on your device and type the official website of DRDO INMAS, https://mhrdnats.gov.in.
2. Scroll down the homepage to go to the section “Key Offerings”. Under this, go to the “Vacancies” option in the second.
3. You will notice a link title, “INMAS, Delhi invites application for engagement of apprentices for the FY 2026-27”. Click on this link.
4. A new window will open. Click on the ” View Link ” against the “Application Form” and download the application form for reference.
5. Before proceeding further, candidates must ensure that they have completed the registration at the BOAT portal.
6. After registration, candidates must log in to the BOAT portal and make sure that their profile is verified by the Regional Board.
7. Then, candidates have to select the relevant apprentice positions and proceed to the online application section.
8. Fill in all required details such as educational qualification, personal information, discipline, and category details.
9. Review the complete application form and then submit it.
10. Download the application acknowledgement form and either take a printout of it or save it as a copy on your device.

DRDO INMAS Selection Process 2026

The selection process for this recruitment will be strictly based on merit. The notification doesn’t mention any written exam or interview. Candidates will be shortlisted based on the percentage of marks secured by them in the qualifying exam relevant to the chosen apprentices category.

1. Merit-Based Shortlisting: Candidates will be selected based on the marks they have secured in educational qualifications, such as Diploma, ITI, B. Sc., B. Pharma., B. L. I. Sc.
2. Application Scrutiny: A Board will be constituted by the DRDO INMAS, which will examine all the submitted applications and shortlist candidates based on the discipline-wise vacancies.
3. Final Shortlist: Only those candidates who have been shortlisted will be informed by DRDO INMAS about the next steps in joining formalities and the document verification round.

DRDO INMAS Salary 2026

Candidates selected through this recruitment will be given a fixed monthly stipend for the entire 12 months of apprenticeship. The stipend amount varies depending on the category of apprentice that candidates have chosen.

Note: during the training period, candidates have to make their own arrangements for accommodation and travel. No separate allowances will be provided by DRDO INMAS.
