The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced new exam dates for the CSIR NET 2024 through their official notice released on 28th June 2024 at https://csirnet.nta.ac.in/. The exam was earlier postponed due to unexpected issues and logistical difficulties. The CSIR NET Exam June 2024 is scheduled to be held from July 25th to 27th July 2024. The exam will be held in Computer-Based mode at the various exam centers across the country.
CSIR NET Exam Date 2024 Out
The new exam date Council of Scientific and Industrial Research National Eligibility Test, has been announced for 25th, 26th and 27th June 2024. The CSIR NET 2024 is a national-level exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) twice a year to determine the eligibility of candidates for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and for Lectureship (LS)/ Assistant Professor in the universities and colleges of India.
CSIR NET Exam Pattern 2024
The CSIR NET 2024 exam, will be held in a computer-based test (CBT) format. The exam will be held for a total of 200 marks and the duration of the exam is 3 hours. Each question carries a value of 2 marks and an incorrect response results in a deduction of 1/4 mark. Below is a detailed outline of the CSIR NET 2024 exam pattern:
