Steps to Apply Online for BIS Recruitment 2024
Candidates can submit their application for BIS Recruitment 2024 from the official website of BIS or directly by clicking on the apply online link shared here. Candidates are advised to carefully fill and verify the details filled in the online application themselves as no change will be possible/ entertained after clicking the complete registration forms.
- Visit the official website Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) at www.bis.gov.in.
- Click on the option “Apply Online” which redirects candidates to a new screen.
- To register the application, Click on the tab “Click here for New Registration”.
- Fill out the registration forms by entering the candidate’s name, contact details, and email ID.
- A Provisional Registration Number and Password will be generated by the system and displayed on the screen.
- Candidates can proceed to upload their Photo & Signature as per the specifications given in the Guidelines.
- Click on the Preview Tab to preview and verify the entire application form before Complete Registration.
- Click on the ‘Payment’ Tab proceed with payment and click on the ‘Submit’ button.

BIS Recruitment 2024 Application Fee
Candidates have to pay an online application fee while submitting the BIS Application Form. For the posts of Assistant Director (Hindi), Assistant Director (Finance), and Assistant Director (Marketing & Consumer Affairs) candidates have to pay Rs 800/- and for the remaining posts, the application fee is Rs.500/- The candidates from SCs/STs/PWDs/ Women and BIS serving employees are exempted from payment of the application fee. Ex-servicemen are exempted from payment of fee only for Group C posts;

BIS Recruitment 2024 Exam Pattern
The Bureau of Indian Standards online exam will consist of objective-type multiple choice. A total of 150 questions will be asked for a total of 150 marks.
