Bihar Police Home Guard Selection Process 2026
The selection for the Bihar Police Home Guard Recruitment 2026 includes a Physical Efficiency Test, Physical Measurement Test, and Medical Examination. The PET will be held for a total of 15 marks, and candidates’ selection will be based on the total marks obtained by them in the PET.

Bihar Police Home Guard Physical Measurement Test (PMT)
Candidates whose application is shortlisted will be called for the physical measurement test. In the PMT exam, screened for height and chest. Those who do not meet the required physical measurements as applicable will be eliminated at this stage.
Bihar Police Home Guard Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
The Physical Efficiency Test will be conducted for 15 marks, and candidates should complete the events within a given time. If you do well in the physical test, you will get more marks as per the specifications set by the Bihar Home Department. Below are the criteria set by the department.
Race for Male and Female Candidates
Male candidates must complete a 1.6 km run in 6 minutes, while female candidates must complete an 800-meter run within 5 minutes. If candidates do not complete in given period of time, they will be disqualified.
