Bank of India Apprentice Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates, intending to apply for the above training seats, should ensure that they fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria specified by the Bank of India.

Educational Qualification (as on 01/12/2025)

The candidates must hold a graduate degree from a recognised university or any equivalent qualifications recognised by the central government. The candidate should have passed his/her graduation degree between 01.04.2021 and 01.12.2025.

Age Limit (as on 01/12/2025)

Bank of India has set an age limit for candidates gearing up to appear for the exam. The minimum age limit is 20 years, and the maximum age limit is 28 years. The candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.12.1997 and not later than 01.12.2005 (both days inclusive)

    This age limit is applicable to General Category and EWS candidates.

The online application portal for accepting the Bank of India Apprentice Application Form 2026 has been activated on 25th December 2025 at the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal, https://nats.education.gov.in/. Candidates can submit their duly filled application form till 10th January 2026. Candidates must keep their documents handy while submitting the application form.

The candidates have to apply online for “Apprenticeship with Bank of India” at the official website, https://nats.education.gov.in (the apprenticeship portal). Follow the steps below-

  1. Open https://nats.education.gov.in on your internet browser.
  2. Navigate to the “Student Register/Login” section
  3. Now register yourself in the Apprenticeship portals of Government of India viz. NATS portal.
  4. Registered candidates then have to login at https://nats.education.gov.in/student_type.php using their User ID and password.
  5. After that candidates who are eligible will receive an email within 48 hours of applying the application on NATS portal, inviting them to fill the final “Application cum Examination Fee Form.

BOI Apprentice Recruitment 2026 Selection Process

The selection process for Bank of India Apprentice Recruitment 2026 will consist of 2 stages, as discussed below ;

  1. Online Written Exam: An online written exam will be conducted to complete the 1st stage of the selection process. Candidates must qualify online written exam to be eligible for the 2nd stage.
  2. Test of Local Language: The candidate applying for vacancies of a particular state should be proficient (reading, writing, speaking and understanding) in any one of the local languages of that state (to be specified at the time of calling the applications). Candidates who produce a 10th or 12th standard marksheet/certificate evidencing having studied the specified opted local language will not be required to undergo the language test.

  • Questions will be multiple choice questions.
  • The exam will comprising 100 questions for 100 marks from General / Financial Awareness, English Language, Quantitative & Reasoning Aptitude, and Computer Knowledge subjects.

Bank of India (BOI) Apprentice Salary Structure 2026

Salary will be paid in the form of a stipend of Rs. 12000 every month for one year i.e. till the period of internship. The apprentices are not eligible for any other allowances/benefits. The stipend will be credited in the savings bank Account of apprentices each month after adjusting unauthorised leaves, if any.
