Assam SLET 2025 Application Fee
The application can be paid online through Net Banking, UPI, Debit/Credit cards, or digital wallets. Candidates belonging to the General category will have to pay Rs. 1200/-, General (EWS) and OBC (Non-creamy Level) candidates need to pay Rs. 1050/-. Candidates who belong to SC/ ST will pay Rs. 1000/- and the Persons with Disabilities (PWD), have to pay Rs. 800/-. The last date for submission of Assam SLET 2025 Application Fee is 31st January 2025. Candidates who want to change their examination center, will have to pay an additional fee of Rs 300/-.

Eligibility Criteria Assam SLET 2025
Candidates make sure before applying for the given post that they are eligible for it or not. Applicants interested in the Assam SLET exam follow the specified eligibility criteria mentioned by the conducting body. Ineligible applications will be disqualified. It is important to agree on the age limit and educational qualification criteria for Assam SLET eligibility 2025. Age Limit
There is no age limit for the candidates in Assam SLET exam 2025. It allows applicants of all ages to apply for the exam, provided they meet other eligibility criteria. They possess specific educational qualifications prescribed by the Commission.
Educational Qualification
To apply for Assam SLET 2025, candidates must fulfill the educational qualifications mentioned below.
- Master’s degree with minimum 55% marks (50% for OBC, SC, ST, PWD) from a government-recognized university.
- Candidates who have appeared in the final year Master’s degree examination and awaiting for the result or whose qualifying examination is pending can apply provisionally. They will be eligible for passing certificates on securing a minimum of 55% marks in a Master’s degree or equivalent examination.
- Candidates holding PhD who have completed their Master-level examination by 19th September 1991 are eligible for relaxation of 5% in the total marks.
Assam SLET 2025 Selection Process
Candidates will be selected as Assistant Professors in Assam by qualifying the Assam SLET Exam which consists of 2 papers. Both papers are objective-based tests and contain multiple-choice questions. Paper 1 is common for all the candidates and Paper 2 will be based on the subject selected by the candidates. Final selection for the post will be based on a merit list prepared by the commission.
Assam SLET 2025 Exam Pattern
With the help of exam pattern candidates know about the number of marks, number of questions asked in the exam, total number, and time duration for the exam. Assam SLET 2025 Exam Pattern is different for both papers. 300 objective-type including MCQs, Matching, Assertion, and Reasoning, True & False will be asked in the SLET exam. There will be no negative marking in the Assam SLET Exam.
Assam SLET Paper 1 Exam Pattern
The Assam SLET exam pattern for Paper 2 consists of 50 objective-type questions covering general topics. Its objective is to evaluate the research/teaching aptitude of the candidates, their understanding ability, reasoning ability, and general awareness, and also evaluate the creative process that involves generating multiple solutions to a problem.

Assam SLET Paper 2 Exam Pattern
The main objective of this paper is to assess the candidates’ understanding and knowledge of their subject. Assam SLET Exam Pattern Paper 2 consists of 100 objective-type questions based on the subject selected by the candidates. There will be no negative marking in Paper 2 also.
