Andaman & Nicobar Island Forest Department Selection Process 2026
For the final selection of the candidates for the various posts, a physical test will be conducted, which consists of three different levels: The candidates must participate in Level 1, 2 & 3, which test the physically fit and mentally sound.
Level 1 Test
Level 1 test is a running test, male candidates must complete a distance of 10 kms, and female candidates must complete a distance of 8 km.
Level 2 Test
At this stage, the long jumps will be conducted. This test is qualifying in nature; candidates must clear in three attempts.

Anadaman & Nicobar Island Forest Department Group C Salary 2026
Selected candidates will receive a competitive salary. Candidates will receive a salary according to pay level 1 as per the government pay matrix. The salary range will be between Rs. 18,000/- and Rs. 5,900/-. Apart from the salary, selected candidates will receive additional allowances as per the Andaman & Nicobar Administration rules.
