  3. Click on Online Registration and enter all personal details such as the candidate’s name, father’s name, mother’s name mobile number, and email ID.
  4. A candidate ID and password will be sent to the registered email ID.
  5. Enter educational details like the qualifying exam, college name, admission, and passing dates.
  6. Enter the registration number of the candidate with which he/she is registered with the Nursing Council of India/ State Nursing Council.
  7. Select the name of the State Nursing Council and enter the date of issuance of the registration number.

While doing AIIMS NORCET 7 Registration 2024, candidates are required to pay non-refundable application fees through Credit Card/Debit Card/net banking. Only the candidates belonging to the PwD category are exempted from paying the registration fee.

AIIMS NORCET 7 Eligibility Criteria 2024

It is mandatory to meet the minimum eligibility requirements of All India Institutes of Medical Sciences to be eligible for the Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test (NORCET)-7. Before filling out the AIIMS NORCET 7 Application Form 2024, candidates are suggested to go through the age limit and qualifications below.

Age Limit (As on 21.08.24)

Those who are interested in becoming a Nursing Officer at AIIMS must fall between the age limit of 18-30 years as on 21st August 2024. Any candidate below or above the specified age is not eligible. Candidates belonging to reserve categories are provided with relaxations in the upper age limit based on the rules of hospitals.

Educational Qualifications

Check out the minimum educational qualifications required to be eligible for Nursing Officer posts at AIIMS. Only candidates having either of these qualifications will be considered eligible.

  • Candidates must have done a B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing / B.Sc. Nursing from an Indian Nursing Council/ State Nursing Council-recognized Institute or University
    OR
    B.Sc. (Post-Certificate) / Post-Basic B.Sc. Nursing from an Indian Nursing Council/State Nursing Council recognized Institute/ University.
  • The candidates must be registered as Nurses & Midwife with the State / Indian Nursing Council.
  • Also, candidates having a diploma in General Nursing Midwifery from an Indian Nursing Council/State Nursing Council recognized Institute / Board or Council are also eligible.
  •  Those who are registered as Nurses & Midwife in the State / Indian Nursing Council.
  • Candidates must have two Years of Experience in a minimum 50-bed Hospital after acquiring the educational qualification mentioned above as applicable for all Participating AIIMS.

AIIMS NORCET 7 Selection Process 2024

There are two stages in the selection process for AIIMS Nursing Officer posts, this involves a preliminary examination followed by main exam. Detailed information is shared below.

Stage I:- The first phase of the selection process for Nursing Officer posts is a preliminary examination of 100 marks, including multiple-choice questions. Candidates belonging to UR/EWS categories must score 50% marks while those belonging to OBC need to score 45%, and the minimum qualifying marks for SC/ST categories are 40%.

Stage II:- Shortlisted candidates will then appear for mains examination of 160 marks. This stage is for the final selection. So, candidates who qualify for this round will be selected as AIIMS Nursing Officers.

Preliminary Exam

The prelims stage of the Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test will include 100 multiple-choice questions, check out the exam pattern here below.

  • For every wrong answer, 1/3 marks will be deducted.
  • +1  will be rewarded to the candidates for every correct answer.
