Aditya has completed his graduation and post-graduation in B.Tech & M. Tech from IIT Kanpur and he also performed exceptionally well in his class 12th examination by scoring 95%. Srivastava’s schooling was completed at City Montessori School (CMS), Lucknow Aliganj branch. After spending his time at IIT, he worked at Goldman Sachs for 15 months where he gained a new and valuable experience. He had achieved this great performance with all his hard work and efforts along with family support. Ajay Srivastava, father of our UPSC topper has supported and motivated him to achieve his dream career. His father is an Assistant Audit Officer at Computer & Auditor General of India. Currently, he is undergoing a training period at the National Police Academy, Hyderabad.

Srivastava chose Electrical Engineering as his optional subject qualified for the UPSC CSE examination and became the top performer. He always wanted to make some positive changes at grassroots or basic levels and wanted to make a rise in the country’s system. Aditya highlighted the fact that contribution to society should be more prioritized rather than financial security, which motivated him to work in civil services where he could get an opportunity to contribute to other’s lives positively. He added ”Today the competition is very tough. if you don’t do something extra, you cannot succeed”. By saying this line he wants upcoming CSE candidates to understand the importance of working harder and giving some extra effort to achieve your dream career.
