Educational Qualification

• Candidates must have a 10th Pass + 3 years approved regular Diploma in mechanical/automotive/fire (OR)
• Candidates must have completed the 12th Pass (Regular Study)
• Candidates must have a Valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License, Medium Vehicle License, or Light Motor Vehicle License (LMV) issued at least two years before the date of advertisement, i.e. 01/11/2024

AAI Junior Assistant Application Fee

While submitting the application form, candidates have to pay an application fee as per their category. The fee must be paid online via Net Banking, credit card, or debit card before the specified application deadline. Only those candidates who belong to the General/OBC-NCL categories are required to pay an application fee of INR 1000. All other applicants are exempt from fee payment.

AAI Junior Assistant Recruitment 2024 Selection Process

The candidate will be selected for AAI Junior Assistant posts on the basis of their performance in a written examination (computer-based test), and selected candidates will be called for document verification followed by a medical examination (physical measurement test).

•  Stage 1: Written examination (Computer-Based Test)
• Stage 2: Document Verification & Medical Examination (Physical Measurement Test), Driving Test

1. Computer-Based Test (CBT): The computer-based test is the initial stage of the selection process, comprising two parts: Part A (educational qualification) and Part B (general knowledge, intelligence, aptitude, and English).

• The time duration for CBT is two hours.
• The minimum qualifying marks for the online exam are as follows:

1. UR/EWS/OBC -50/100
2. SC/ST- 40/100

2. Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates will undergo document verification after clearing the CBT. Candidates must produce original documents to confirm eligibility.

3. Medical Examination: Candidates clearing the document verification process will undergo a medical examination, comprising a physical measurement test (PMT) and medical assessment. A medical exam evaluates physical fitness (running 100 meters, carrying a test, lifting and carrying a sandbag to 50 meters, pole climbing, rope climbing, ladder climbing, and descending), height, weight, chest measurement, and eyesight.

4. Driving Test: Candidates applying for driving positions must undergo a driving test, demonstrating proficiency in operating a light motor vehicle (LMV). Candidates must possess a valid Light Motor Vehicle (LMV), Medium Motor Vehicle (MMV), and Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) license.

AAI Junior Assistant Exam Pattern 2024

The AAI Junior Assistant Exam will consist of objective-type multiple-choice questions. A total of 120 questions will be asked for a total of 120 marks. Exam pattern helps the candidates to know the topics asked in the exam, the total number of questions, the marking scheme, and other details.

• The examination is conducted for 120 marks
• The duration of the examination is 2 hours
• There will be no negative marking for wrong answers

AAI Junior Assistant Salary 2024

Selected candidates and appointees for the AAI Junior Assistant posts will be offered the monthly salary along with the perks and allowance as per the Rules. The AAI Junior Assistant salary is in the pay scale ranging from Rs. 31,000 to Rs. 92,000.
