Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC), Prayagraj, has announced a total 1936 vacancies for Assistant Professor posts across government-aided degree colleges of Uttar Pradesh. The online application has started on the official website www.upessc.up.gov.in, and the last date to apply online is 7th October 2026. 

There are a total of 42 subjects, and the largest subject-wise vacancies include Hindi, Chemistry, English, Economics, Botany, Geography, Political Science, and other subjects. The UP Assistant Professor written examination is scheduled for 19th and 20th November 2026.

UP Assistant Professor Salary 2026

Selected candidates are placed at Pay Level 10, with the prescribed pay scale of Rs. 57,700 to Rs. 1,82,400.
