The eligibility of candidates for Chhattisgarh Assistant Teacher Recruitment 2026 is determined in terms of educational qualification and age limit, same as mentioned in the notification PDF.

Educational Qualification

• Candidates must have passed a Two-year Diploma in Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) and Elementary Pedagogy (by whatever name known) with at least 50 percent marks (OR)
• 2 years Diploma in Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) and Elementary Pedagogy (by whatever name known) with at least 45 percent marks, approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). (Recognition, Criteria and Procedure) Regulations, 2002 (OR)
• Four-year Graduation in Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) and Elementary Pedagogy (B.El.Ed.) with at least 50% marks (OR)
• Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and two-year Diploma in Elementary Pedagogy (Special Pedagogy) (OR)
• Graduation and two-year Diploma in Elementary Pedagogy (by whatever name known) (AND)
• Candidates must have qualified the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET/CG TET) as prescribed by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and the State Government.
