GSRTC Conductor Recruitment 2026 Notification Out for 4318 Vacancies

Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation (GSRTC) has released the official notification (Advt No. GSRTC/2026-27/32 )announcing a total of 4,318 vacancies for the conductor posts. The online application portal for accepting the application form has started from 6th June 2026 onwards. Interested and eligible candidates can submit their applications online through the Gujarat government’s OJAS portal.

Eligibility Creteria for GSRTC Conductor Recruitment 2026

Candidates applying for the GSRTC Conductor posts must meet the eligibility requirements in terms of educational qualification, age limit, and other criteria.

Educational Qualification

• Candidates must have completed Class 12 Pass (10+2) from the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board or any equivalent recognized board
• A diploma (10+3 or more years after Class 10) is also accepted
• ITI (2-year or more NCVT-passed course after Class 10 + English subject passed from GSEB or Gujarat Open School Examination) and 3-year Polytechnic Diploma after Class 10 are also treated as equivalent to Class 12 for government service purposes

Knowledge of Computer

• Must possess a Basic Computer Knowledge certificate/marksheet from a training institute as per the Gujarat Government GAD Resolution
• Diploma/Degree/Certificate course in Computer from a recognized University/Institution, OR Class 10/12 passed with Computer as a subject
• The certificate must be dated before the last date of application

Conductor Licence & Badge

• Candidates must have a Valid Conductor Licence issued by the Regional Transport Authority (RTA), and the badge must be held at the time of online application. If the Conductor Licence and Badge are not valid on the date of application, the application will be rejected

Age Limit (as on 05/07/2026)

• Minimum Age – 18 years
• Maximum Age – 45 years
