RSSB Lab Assistant & Junior Lab Assistant (Science & Geography) written examination for Advt No. – 05/2026 was conducted on 9th and 10th May 2026. This year, 400967 candidates have applied for Lab Assistant (Geography) and 533768 candidates have applied for Junior Lab Assistant & Junior Lab Assistant (Science) posts. According to the attendance data, 3,02,129 candidates appeared (76.43%) on 1st day of the exam. For the 2nd day of the exam, around 3.75 lakh candidates appeared (72%+).

Raise Objection Process

Following the release of the provisional answer key, the Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB) will open a challenge window, typically lasting 2–3 days. If candidates find any discrepancies in the answer key, they can object within the specified time frame. Along with the application, candidates have to submit appropriate proof. Once all the objections are verified, a final answer key is released.

How to Calculate Marks Using Lab Assistant Answer Key?

• Firstly, candidates have to download the RSSB Lab Assistant Answer Key 2026 for their exam shift and paper from the RSSB official website.
• Match your answers marked in the exam with the answers given in the official answer key.
• Assign 1 mark for each correct answer.
• As there is negative marking, deduct 1/3rd of a mark for each incorrect answer.

Based on this final key, the RSSB Lab Assistant Results are expected to be announced in June 2026 with roll numbers/names of qualified candidates.
