Candidates must ensure they meet the required eligibility criteria for the post of Veterinary Inspector as specified by the Punjab Subordinate Services Selection Board, in terms of educational qualification, age limit, and language proficiency. The eligibility criteria have been discussed below.

Educational Qualification

• Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Math subjects from a recognised University/Board.
• Candidates should have completed a 2-year Diploma in Veterinary Science and Animal Health Technology or its equivalent from a recognised university.

The age of candidates applying for the Veterinary Inspector post must fall within the limits prescribed by the Punjab Subordinate Services Selection Board.

The written exam will be conducted in an objective-type format to access candidate’s subject knowledge and language proficiency. The question paper has two parts. Part A is qualifying in nature and contains the Punjabi Language subject. Part B determines final merit and contains Subject-related questions and the General Aptitude part.

• Candidates have to secure a minimum of 50% marks to qualify.
• Candidates will get 2 hours and 30 minutes to complete 150 questions.
• There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for wrong answers.

The salary of PSSSB Veterinary Inspector posts is offered as per the 7th Pay Commission guidelines.
