UKMSSB Medical Officer Recruitment 2026, Apply Online for 47 Allopathic MO Posts

Uttarakhand Medical Service Selection Board (UKMSSC) aims to fill 47 vacant positions with Medical Officer (MO) (Allopathic) under ESI Labour Medical Services. Candidates who are well-qualified medical professionals seeking a government position in Uttarakhand must complete their application process from 15th April to 5th May 2026 at the official website https://www.ukmssb.org. After the application form filling ends, UKMSSC will open the correction window from 7th to 10th May 2026.

UKMSSB will select candidates through their MBBS performance, work experience, and Interview. After selection, candidates will be posted anywhere in Uttarakhand under the Employees’ State Insurance (ESI) Labour Medical Services Department.

UKMSSB ESI Medical Officer Vacancy 2026

UKMSSB has announced 47 vacancies for the post of Medical Officer (Allopathic). Out of the total 47 posts, 27 vacancies are reserved for general category candidates. While the remaining 20 vacancies are kept for the reserved category candidates. Candidates can check the category-wise vacancy distribution from below:

UKMSSB Medical Officer Eligibility Criteria 2026

Candidates applying for the recruitment must carefully check the prescribed eligibility criteria before starting with the application form. UKMSSB requires candidates of good moral character fulfilling the criteria in terms of educational qualification, age limit, and valid medical registration to apply for the Medical Officer post.

Educational Qualification

• Candidates must possess an MBBS degree from a recognised university.
• Candidates must have a permanent registration with the Uttarakhand Medical Council or the State Medical Council. The registration certificate must remain valid up to the last date of application submission, which is 5th May 2026.
• Candidates who have completed their MBBS degree from a foreign university must have qualified for the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination, conducted by NBE.
• Along with this, UKMSSB will give preference to those candidates who have served a minimum of 2 years in the Territorial Army or have an NCC B Certificate. Additionally, candidates who have completed PG Degree/Diploma in medical specialities, such as Medicine, Surgery, Paediatrics, etc., etc will also get preference.

Age Limit

To apply for the posts, candidates must be aged 21 years or above. The maximum age until which a general category candidate can apply is 42 years. Candidates belonging to reserved categories will get the benefits of age relaxations as per the Uttarakhand Government norms. UKMSSB ESI Medical Officer Apply Online 2026

The application process for the ESI Medical Officer is completely online through the official website of https://www.ukmssb.org. Candidates who are eligible for the post must complete their application with the required details, upload necessary documents, pay the application fee and submit it between 15th April and 5th May 2026. Candidates must remember that all entered details are correct, as any mismatch in the application form will lead to rejection of candidature. UKMSSB Medical Officer Application Fee 2026

To successfully submit the application form, candidates must pay the application fee as per their category. Candidates must pay a non-refundable application fee through Net Banking/Debit Card/Credit Card/UPI Payment mode.

Note:

• Candidates belonging to the dependents of Uttarakhand Freedom Fighters shall pay the application fee to the category they belong to, such as General, SC, ST, EWS, or OBC.
• Candidates who are from the Ex-Servicemen sub-category of Uttarakhand shall pay the application fee as per their respective category, such as General, SC, ST, and OBC.
• Candidates belonging to the orphan children category residing in Uttarakhand must pay the application fee of the General category.
