Himachal Pradesh Rajya Chayan Aayog (HPRCA) has officially released a notification announcing a total of 149 vacancies for the post of Junior Engineer (Civil). Interested candidates who fulfill the required eligibility criteria first have to submit their online application form to get themself registered. The online application process for the post of Junior Engineer will start from 10th April 2026 (10:00 am) onwards at the HPRCA official website www.hprca.hp.gov.in.

The candidates are strictly advised to apply online well in advance to avoid a rush during the closing dates of submission of the online recruitment applications. No offline Application Form will be accepted by the HPRCA. The selection of candidates will be based on a Computer-Based Test (CBT)/Written Test and Document Verification.

HPRCA Junior Engineer Eligibility Criteria 2026

The interested candidates who want to apply for the HPRCA JE Recruitment 2026 must make sure they fulfill the required eligibility criteria in terms of educational qualification and age limit as specified by the officials.

Educational Qualification

• Basic Education: You must have passed 10th (Matric) or 12th (10+2) from a recognized board.
• Technical Qualification (Any One): Diploma in Civil Engineering (regular full-time) OR B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a recognized institute.
• Institute Approval Condition: Your diploma/degree must be from an AICTE/UGC approved institute OR AMIE (enrolled before 31.05.2013).
• Himachal Pradesh Condition (Important): You are eligible if-  You passed 10th and 12th from Himachal Pradesh, OR You passed Diploma from Himachal Pradesh, OR You passed Middle + Matric from Himachal Pradesh.
• Desirable (Not Mandatory): Knowledge of:
  (i) Local customs
  (ii) Manners
  (iii) Dialects of Himachal Pradesh

Age Limit (As on 01/01/2026)

The minimum age is 18 years, and the maximum age is 45 years as on 1st January 2026. Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ ST/OBC/ PWD and other reserved categories of Himachal Pradesh as per government rules.

HPRCA Junior Engineer Application Fee 2026

Candidates applying for this recruitment are required to pay the application fee online while submitting the application form. The application fee includes both the examination fee and the processing fee. Candidates must pay the application fee by using any online payment option, such as Debit Card, Credit Card, UPI Payment, or Net Banking.

Steps to Apply Online for HPRCA JE Recruitment 2026

Candidates must complete the application form by filling in personal, academic, and caste details, uploading the required documents, and paying the application fee.

1. Open any web browser and visit the official website of HPRCA, www.hprca.hp.gov.in.
2. Scroll down the homepage and go to the “Apply Login” section and click on this.
3. You will be redirected to a new window, where you have to log in/sign up as a citizen.
4. Now, complete your One-Time Registration by entering basic details such as name, mobile number, email ID, and password. This will generate your registration number and password.
5. Now, log in with your generated registration details and choose the post “Job Trainee Junior Engineer (Civil).”
6. Enter your personal details, which include full name, father’s name, mother’s name, category, date of birth, and address (just as it is given in the metric certificate).
7. Then enter educational qualification details about Class 10th, Class 12th, and Graduation/diploma certificate.
8. Upload the scanned documents of the Class 10th certificate, recent passport-sized photograph (not older than 1 month), signature, category certificate (OBC/EWS/SC/ST/IRDP or BPL), or any other educational certificate as required. All files must be in JPG/JPEG/PNG format and not more than 1 MB in size.
9. Then, pay the application fee through any online mode.
10. Now, carefully review your application form. Once satisfied, submit it.
11. Download and take a printout of the acknowledgement form for future reference.
