The National Testing Agency (NTA) has conducted the Common University Entrance Test Postgraduate (CUET PG) exam from 6th to 27th March 2026 across 44 shifts. Following this, NTA is expected to release the provisional answer key by the 2nd week of April 2026 on its official website, https://exams.nta.nic.in/cuet-pg. After NTA releases the answer key on the official website, candidates must follow the steps given below to download the CUET PG answer key:
- Go to the official website of CUET PG, https://exams.nta.nic.in/cuet-pg.
- Scroll down the homepage to the Public Notices section.
- In this, you will notice a link titled “Release of Answer Key of CUET (PG)- 2026 examination”. Click on this link.
- Your CUET PG Answer Key 2026 will be displayed on the screen in a PDF format.
- Download this PDF and save it on your device.
CUET PG 2026 Response Sheet
NTA will release the candidate’s response sheet on its official website. It will contain the answers chosen by candidates in the online exam. With this response sheet, candidates can compare their marked answers with those of the official solutions and estimate their probable marks. These marks will help candidates understand their selection chances for the next stage of recruitment.
CUET PG Answer Key 2026 Raise Objections
After releasing the provisional answer key, NTA will also open an objection window for a short period. If candidates find any discrepancy, they can raise challenge(s) through this window. Candidates have to pay a non-refundable objection fee of Rs. 200 through any online payment mode.
Steps to Raise Objections Against CUET PG Answer Key 2026
Candidates must follow the steps given below to raise their objection:
- Visit the official CUET PG website, https://exams.nta.nic.in/cuet-pg.
- Go to the Press Release on the homepage, and look for a link titled “Answer Key Challenge for CUET (PG)- 2026 examination”. Click on this link.
- A new window will open, and in this, enter your Application Number, Date of Birth, and Security Code. Then click on the “Challenge Answer key” option.
- On a new page, select the Question ID you want to challenge. Also, select the Option ID that you think is correct.
- Now upload supporting documents in the form of textbook references or any official responses.
- Then pay the objection fee of Rs. 200 per question you have raised challenges against.
- Review all the details carefully and then click on the “Submit” button.
- Download the confirmation page and take a printout of it.
CUET PG Marking Scheme 2026
The marking scheme for CUET PG will help candidates understand how marks are calculated in the exam. There are a total of 75 questions in the online exam. Candidates have 90 minutes to finish their exam. The CUET PG marking scheme is given below:
- For every correct answer, candidates get +4 marks.
- For every wrong answer, the candidate loses 1 mark.
- To calculate marks, candidates can follow the formula:
(Correct answer*4)-(Wrong answer*1)=Difference in score.
