SSB Staff Nurse & Pharmacist Selection Process 2026
The selection process is designed to assess candidates on professional knowledge, physical fitness and medical standards. Candidates must clear all the stages to secure final selection.
Physical Standard Test: This is the first stage of the selection process. In this stage, only PST will be conducted, not PET. This test is qualifying in nature. Both PET and PST will be conducted for pharmacists.
Written Test: Candidates who qualified for the PST test will be called for the written exam. The exam will test the academic knowledge of the candidates.
Document Verification: Candidates who qualified for the written exam will be called for the document verification and medical examination. In the document verification, candidates must present the original copy of the document for verification.
SSB Staff Nurse Exam Pattern 2026
Understanding the exam pattern is essential for all candidates who are going to apply for staff nurse and pharmacist recruitment. Exam patterns give a clear idea about the number of questions asked in the exam and the marking scheme.

SSB Staff Nurse Salary 2026
Candidates who will be qualified as a Sub Inspector (staff nurse) and ASI (Pharmacist) receive a competitive salary. The salary is based on the 7th Central Pay Commission.
