Candidates should follow these steps to apply online for the CEL Recruitment.

  • Click on “Recruitment” under the career section.
  • Click on the link “Active Recruitment”.
  • The new page will open, where you can get the link to download the advertisement and apply online.
  • Register themselves with a valid email ID and phone number.
  • Candidates must fill in all the personal and educational information.
  • Upload scanned passport-size photograph, signature and required documents.
  • Pay the application fee and submit the application form.

CEL Selection Process 2026

The selection process is designed to evaluate the eligibility of the candidates through multiple stages. Applicant must successfully clear each stage of the selection process to secure final selection. The selection process involves a written examination, a personal interview and a preplacement medical examination.

Written Examination: The written exam will be conducted in CBT mode for 2 hours. This exam consists of 2 parts; Part 1 is domain specific test, and Part 2 is a test of the aptitude and knowledge of the candidates.

Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for a personal Interview. Minimum passing marks for the Interview will be 65% for unreserved candidates, 60% for EWS/OBC candidates, 55% for SC/ST candidates and 50% for candidates from PwBD categories.

Trade Test for Non-Executive Post:  The interview will not be conducted for the non-executive post; rather than the interview the Trade test will be conducted. Minimum passing marks for the trade test will be 40% for unreserved/EWS/OBC candidates and 35% for candidates from reserved categories.

Medical Examination: At the end those candidates whose name in the final list will be called for the medical examination.

CEL Exam Pattern 2026

Understanding the exam pattern is important for effective preparation. The exam pattern provides information about the number of questions asked in the exam, the marking scheme and the exam duration. Candidates are advised to review the CEL exam structure carefully before starting their preparation.

  • There is a total of 100 questions asked in this CBT exam.
  • All questions will carry 1 mark.
  • Incorrect and multiple answers will result in one-fourth negative marking.
  • The duration of the exam is 2 hours.
