Uttar Pradesh Higher Education Services Commission (UPHESC) has released the official notice on 20th January 2026 at the official website https://upessc.up.gov.in/ regarding the UPHESC Assistant Professor Exam Date 2026. After the cancellation of the previous exam, the Re-Exam for Assistant Professor posts (Advt. No. 51) is scheduled for 18th and 19th April 2026. UPHESC Assistant Professor Exam is being conducted for the teaching position in various state government colleges across the state.

UP Assistant Professor Examination for Advt No. 51 is scheduled for 18th and 19th April 2026.  The exact exam date, shift timing, and exam centre details will be released along with the admit card. So, candidates are advised to complete their syllabus and revision before the announcement of the exam date.

Note: The result and cut off maks for UP Assistant Professor Examination (Advertisement No. 51), conducted on 16th and 17th April 2025, were declared on 4th September 2025. However, as per the decision taken by the exam authority, the exam has been cancelled. Assistant Professor Examination will be conducted again on 18th and 19th April 2026 for all registered candidates.

UPHESC Assistant Professor Selection Process 2026

The UPHESC Assistant Professor Selection Process mainly consists of two stages: a written examination and a personal interview.
