TN TRB Notification 2025 Summary

Candidates who hold qualifications such as B.A, B.Sc., B.Ed., BPEd, M.P.Ed., or any relevant postgraduate degree as per the posts are eligible to apply for TN TRB Recruitment 2025. The age limit for candidates is between 18 to 53 years. Candidates will be selected through the Tamil Language Eligibility Test, followed by a Written Examination and Document Verification.

Educational Qualifications

Post Graduate Assistant

• Candidates must have a Post Graduate Degree in the relevant subject with at least 50% marks (or 45% as per NCTE norms).
• Must have a B.Ed. or B.A.Ed. / B.Sc.Ed. from an NCTE-recognized institution.
• UG and PG degrees must be in the same subject.

Physical Director Grade – I

• Should have a B.P.Ed. / BPE / B.Sc. in Health & Physical Education or Sports as per NCTE norms.
• Must have completed M.P.Ed. (2 years) from an NCTE-recognized institution.

Computer Instructor Grade – I

• Must have a Post Graduate Degree with at least 50% marks.
• Must also have a B.Ed. or B.A.Ed. / B.Sc.Ed. qualification.
• UG and PG degrees must be in the same subject.

Tamil Nadu TRB Selection Process 2025

The selection process as mentioned in the TN TRB Notification 2025, comprises three stages

• Compulsory Tamil Language Eligibility Test
• Written Examination (Objective OMR Type)
• Certificate Verification

TN TRB Exam Pattern 2025

Tamil Language Eligibility Test (Part  A)

There will be 30 questions for 50 marks, and candidates must complete the exam in 30 minutes.

• Minimum Qualifying Marks: 20 marks (40%).
• This is a qualifying test.

Main Subject Exam (Part B)

This exam is applicable for Graduate Assistant, Physical Director Grade-I, and Computer Instructor Grade-I

• There will be 150 questions for 150 marks.
• The duration of the exam is 3 hours.

Computer Instructor Grade-I Exam Pattern

The exam will be OMR-based and last for 3 hours.

• There will be 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs).
• Each question carries 1 mark

Part B: Exam for Post Graduate Assistant (PG Level)

There will be 150 questions for 150 marks, and candidates can complete the exam in 3 hours.

Tamil Nadu Teacher Salary 2025

Appointed teachers through TN TRB Recruitment 2025 get a salary ranging from Rs. 36,900 to 1,16,600 under Pay Level 18 as per the 7th Pay commission guidelines.
