IBPS Clerk Image Resizer is a free online cropping and resizing tool to convert your photo, signature, left thumb impression, and handwritten declaration to the exact pixel dimensions and file size (in KB) prescribed by IBPS for the CRP CSA-XVI online application form.

How to Use the IBPS Clerk Image Resizer Tool?
- Select the document tab you want to resize — Photo, Signature, Thumb Impression, or Handwritten Declaration (Photo is selected by default)
- Click Upload and choose the scanned image from your device, then click Open
- If you selected the wrong file, simply reload the page and upload the correct one
- The tool automatically applies the correct crop dimensions based on the official IBPS Clerk specification for the selected document type
- Use the drag/crop option to adjust the visible area of your image as needed
- Click Download — your resized image will be compressed to the correct KB range and saved to your device
- Repeat the process for each remaining document (photo, signature, thumb impression, declaration)
- Upload the downloaded files into the respective upload fields on the official IBPS Clerk application form at ibps.in
Live Photo Capture – A Separate Requirement
In addition to uploading the passport-style photograph above, IBPS Clerk 2026 candidates must also capture a live photograph through their device’s webcam or mobile camera at the time of registration. This is a separate step from uploading the pre-prepared 200×230 pixel photo, and skipping it will not let you complete registration. For the live capture:
- Use a light-coloured, preferably white background
- Ensure even, adequate lighting on your face with no harsh shadows
- Look straight into the camera with a neutral expression
Common Reasons IBPS Rejects Photo/Signature Uploads
Getting the dimensions right is only half the job — IBPS also checks whether your documents follow these visual rules:
- Photo background must be light-coloured, preferably white, with no shadows
- Face visibility: No caps, hats, or dark glasses. Religious headwear is allowed only if it does not cover the face. If you wear spectacles, your eyes must remain clearly visible (no glare or tinting)
- Signature ink: Must be signed personally on clean white paper — capital/block letters are not accepted as a valid signature and will lead to rejection
- Thumb impression ink: Left thumb impression must be taken on white paper using black or blue ink
- Consistency: Keep a copy of the same recognisable photograph for use at later stages (exam, interview, joining) — avoid significantly changing your appearance during the recruitment cycle
