Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) has released 340 vacancies for Probationary Engineer posts in various disciplines like Electronics, Computer Science, Electrical, and Mechanical, under the E-II Grade. The candidates who have applied for the post now have to appear for a Computer-Based Test. The BEL Exam Date 2025 for the CBT Exam has been officially announced at the BEL official website https://bel-india.in/, and the exam will be held on 20th December 2025. 

BEL Probationary Engineer Exam Date 2025 Out

The Bharat Electronics Limited is now going to conduct the first stage of the selection process, i.e., a Computer-Based Test for candidates who have applied for 340 Probationary Engineer vacancies. The BEL Computer-Based Test will be conducted on 20th December 2025 (Saturday) for which exam city details will be informed through email on 6th December 2025, and the admit card will be released on 13th December 2025.

The selection of candidates will be based on a two-stage selection process that includes a Computer-Based Test and an Interview. Candidates who will be selected will be paid monthly as per the Basic Pay Scale (Rs.) 40,000-3%- 1,40,000, CTC- 13 lacs.

BEL Probationary Engineers Application Fee

The candidates have to pay an application fee through the online mode of payment while filling out the BEL Application Form. Candidates belonging to the GEN/EWS/OBC (NCL) category are required to pay an application fee of Rs 1000 + GST, i.e., Rs. 1180, while SC/ST/PwBD/ESM  are exempt from payment of the application fee.

The exam pattern for the posts under BEL Probationary Engineer Recruitment 2025 is as follows.

• BEL Probationary Engineer Exam is a Computer-Based Test consisting of 125 questions
• Out of 125 questions, 100 will be asked from technical subjects and 25 from General Aptitude and Reasoning.
• The total duration is 120 minutes.
• Each question will carry 1 mark, and 1/4th mark will be deducted for each wrong answer
• The question paper will be bilingual, i.e., English and Hindi.

Candidates who will be selected for Probationary Engineer under BEL Recruitment 2025 will be paid monthly as per the Basic Pay Scale (Rs.) 40,000-3%- 1,40,000, CTC- 13 lacs. Along with basic pay, the selected candidates will be entitled to DA, HRA, Conveyance Allowance, Performance Related Pay, Medical Reimbursement, and other perquisites as admissible.
