The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released a detailed notification to recruit eligible candidates for Hindi Officer posts on a regular basis. The exact number of vacancies has not been specified yet, and the posting is in IBPS Mumbai only. Candidates who have a Master’s Degree with a Hindi & English combination at the graduation level (regular mode only) and Computer Knowledge are eligible to apply.

IBPS Hindi Officer Recruitment 2026

The selection of candidates for the post of Hindi Officer in Grade E will be based on Online Examination, Skill Test & Item Writing Exercise, Group Exercises and Personal Interview. The selected candidates who will be joining will be required to execute a Service Bond of Rs. 2 lakhs (Rupees Two lakhs only). The Candidate shall have to serve for a minimum period of 3 years in IBPS.

IBPS Hindi Officer Eligibility Criteria 2026

Exposure/ experience related to development of AI-based tools for translation would be an added qualification

Minimum age limit is 23 years and maximum age limit is 30 years as on 1 September 2026, i.e., a candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.09.1996 and not later than 01.09.2003 (both dates inclusive).

IBPS Hindi Officer Application Fee 2026

Service Bond

Selected candidates must sign a Service Bond of Rs. 2 Lakh at the time of joining and serve IBPS for a minimum of 3 years; leaving earlier means paying Rs. 2 Lakh to IBPS. The bond period may be extended by the number of loss-of-pay days.

IBPS Hindi Officer Exam Pattern 2026

The online examination consists of 200 questions for 200 marks, with a total duration of 140 minutes. The exam includes four sections—Reasoning, English Language, General Awareness, and Hindi Language. Advertisement-for-Hindi-Office. There is a penalty of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer in the online examination.

IBPS Hindi Officer Salary 2026

The IBPS Hindi Officer will be appointed in Grade E on a regular basis. As per the notification, the basic pay is Rs. 44,900 per month, while the total monthly emolument at the beginning of the scale is approximately Rs. 91,070, including DA, HRA, and TA. The approximate annual CTC is Rs. 17.39 lakh as per the policies applicable in September 2026.
