Veterinary Officer
  • Candidates must have completed a Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc. & A.H.)
  • Must be duly registered with the Uttar Pradesh Veterinary Council.
Homoeopathic Medical Officer
  • A recognised degree in Homoeopathy, the duration of study of which is not less than five years according to its syllabus or course.
Swasthya Shiksha Adhikari
  • Candidate must possess a Master’s Degree from a recognised University in Sociology or any subject of Social Science
Chikitsa Adhikari (Ayurved)
  • A degree in Ayurveda from a University established by law in India (OR)
  • Five-year degree or diploma inAyurvedic of the Board of Indian Medicine, Uttar Pradesh
Dental Surgeon
  • Must possess at least B.D.S. (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) degree from a recognised university or an equivalent qualification recognised by the Indian Dental Council.
Inspector of Drugs
  • Degree in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Sciences or Medicine with specialisation in Clinical Pharmacology or Microbiology or equivalent from a recognised University;
  • With specialisation in Clinical Pharmacology or Microbiology, along with 18 to 36 months of relevant experience.
Chikitsa Adhikari (Unani)
  • A degree in Unani Tib of a University established by law in India (OR)
  • Five years degree or diploma in Unani Tib of the Board of Indian Medicine, Uttar Pradesh.
Chikitsa Adhikari (Homoeopathic)
  • A recognised degree in Homoeopathy, the duration of study of which is not less than five years according to its syllabus or course (OR)
  • A recognised Diploma in Homoeopathy (AND)
  • The applicant should be duly registered with the Homoeopathic Medicine Board, Uttar Pradesh.
Vetting Officer
  • Bachelor of Arts degree (with English Literature or Hindi Literature as one of the subjects) or Bachelor of Science degree or Bachelor of Commerce degree with a minimum of fifty percent marks (AND)
  • Bachelor of Laws degree with a minimum of fifty percent marks from a University established by law in India (OR)
  • Five-year Bachelor of Laws degree with a minimum of fifty percent marks from a University established by law in India

UPPSC Dental Surgeon & Other Posts Selection Process 2025-26

Candidates’ selection for Medical Officer, Veterinary Officer, Homoeopathic Medical Officer, and other posts. is based on 2 stages of the selection process.

Stage 1 – Written Examination – The written exam will consist of Objective Type Questions. There is a negative marking; 1/3 mark will be deducted for a wrong answer.

Stage 2 – Interview – Candidates who qualify in the Screening Examination will be called for an interview as per the standard of the Commission

Stage 3 – Final Merit List – The final merit list will be prepared of 75% weightage to the marks obtained in the screening test, and 25% weightage to the marks scored in the interview.
