Integrated PhD. Programs:	The applying candidates must hold a relevant BSc or equivalent degree or BPharma or Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy with a valid JAM score. Candidates who clear JEST are only eligible to apply for the Physical Sciences stream. BE/ BTech candidates who qualify in subjects like Mathematics/ Mathematical Statistics in JAM are eligible to apply to the Mathematical Science discipline and in Biotechnology in JAM to Biological Sciences discipline.
Research Programmes PhD./ M.Tech (Research)	The candidates with a bachelor’s or master’s degree in the relevant field and those who hold a valid GATE (GPAT) or NET JRF are eligible for admissions in their course.
D- External Registration Programmes (ERP)	The required qualifications remain the same as for the regular candidates. Qualifying in one of the tests like CSIR-UGC NET for JRF, UGC-NET for JRF, DBT JRF, ICMR JRF, GATE, or NBHM is desirable. Further, the candidate should have completed two years of full-time employment in the current organization.
Course Programmes (MTech/ MDes/ M.Mgt)	Candidates with a minimum of the second class in BE/ BTech/ BDes/ BArch in an appropriate field or Master’s degree in subjects like Science, Physical Sciences, Mathematics, Statistics, Geology, Instrumentation, Electronics or MCA are eligible to apply for this course. Also, a valid GATE scorecard is required.

IISC 2023 Rank List

IISC authorities will release the IISC 2023 Rank List after accepting all the application forms and the respective National Level exam marks. The Rank list will be prepared based on the candidate’s performance in national-level exams. The interested candidates must have qualified for any of the national level exams such as KVPY, JEE Main, JEE Advanced, GATE, CAT, CEED, JRF, ICMR, and JEST to be eligible for admission in various courses.
