The Basic Education Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh has released the official notification announcing the schedule for the UP RTE Registrations 2026‑27 at its website. The UP RTE Admission 2026‑27 application window has been started at the official website of UP RTE for Round 2. All the students who are interested in registering for round 2 of the RTE Lottery need to visit the official website at https://rte25.upsdc.gov.in/ and complete their registrations between January 01 and January 19, 2026.

The UP RTE Admission 2026 is going on at the official website and the board has completed the admission process of round 1 RTE Lottery by announcing the UP RTE Merit List 2026‑27 (assumed) on December 27, 2025. Now the body has started the registration window for the round 2 of RTE Lottery with the deadline till January 19, 2026.

The UP RTE Registration 2026‑27 will be done in 4 rounds and the registration schedule for all 4 rounds has been released online by the Basic Education Department of Uttar Pradesh (tentatively, as per last year’s pattern). The UP RTE Admission 2026‑27 is being conducted for the 25% pre‑primary classes of private schools that are reserved for children belonging to disadvantaged groups and weaker sections.

All the students who have previously completed their registration can directly login into the portal using their registration number and mobile number as the login credentials. For the students who are new to the portal, the new student registration window will be open where they need to fill in all the asked information and complete their registration process.

Steps to Register for UP RTE Admission 2026‑27 at rte25.upsdc.gov.in

Step 1: Visit the official website for UP RTE at https://rte25.upsdc.gov.in/
Step 2: At the home page of the website, click on the link “Online Application/ Student Login”
Step 3: The login window for the already registered students will open on the screen
Step 4: New students need to click on “new student registration”
Step 5: Fill all the information in the asked manner and process the form
Step 6: Click on the register and your registration will be completed.

Eligibility Requirement for UP RTE Admission 2026‑27

The students who are looking for UP RTE Admission 2026‑27 need to fulfill certain mandatory criteria:

• The age of the applying student should be between 3 to 6 years (for pre‑primary) / as per school norms for class‑1.

• The family of the student must belong to the economically weaker section / disadvantaged group category as per norms.
