CLAT Exam Analysis 2025
Based on the initial reactions of students coming out of the exam centers after appearing for the CLAT 2025, it can be said that the exam was moderately difficult. According to students, the logical reasoning and legal reasoning sections were challenging, with a few tricky questions. The English section, however, was considered manageable, with vocabulary-based questions and reading comprehension being relatively easier.
The General Knowledge section had a balanced mix of current affairs and static questions, and students found it to be moderately difficult. Experts also agree, noting that the overall difficulty level was moderate, but the legal reasoning section posed more challenges compared to previous years.
CLAT Paper Analysis 2025 Difficulty Level
As per the reviews shared by the experts, it can be said that the CLAT Paper 2025 reflected a decrease in the difficulty level while the pattern of the question paper remained the same. The question paper comprised of a total of 120 questions that needed to be answered by the students in a span of 2 hours. Critical Reasoning
The Critical Reasoning section of the CLAT 2025 exam paper comprised of 5 passages like climate change, pollution, and socio-economic issues impacting Asia, India, and its neighbors. The focus of questions in this sections was largely on inferences, deductions, and conclusions, with some questions on strengthening and weakening arguments.

English Language
The students said that the English language section was a bit lengthy which comprised five Reading Comprehensions, with three non-fiction passages (from journals, newspapers, books, etc.) and two fiction-based passages. The focus of questions in this section was majorly on understanding of comprehension.

Current Affairs/GK
This section comprised of 8 sections which majorly focused on the major events that happened in the past 2 years. Students said that the questions in this section were relatively easy and they were able to answer most of them.

Quantitative Techniques
Students reported this section as lengthy and highly difficult to attempt. The major focus of the questions asked in this section was on topics, including simplifications, ratios, basic algebra, mensuration, statistics, profit and loss, and time and work.

Legal Reasoning
This section tested the students knowledge of the latest and past cases and therefore, the students considered this section as the hardest among all.
