Steps to Fill in JNVST Admission Form 2026-27 Class 9, 11
Step I: Visit the official website of the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS), i.e., www.navodaya.gov.in
Step II: On the homepage look for the link that says “ JNV Class 9, 11 lateral entry Registration 2026-27”, and click on it.
Step III: Fill in all the details asked such as name, date of birth, gender, email ID, etc,
Step IV: The authorities will send the login ID and password to the student’s registered email ID.

Step V: Now the students will have to fill out the JNV Class 9, 11 Admission form for the lateral entry exams by providing all the personal information, educational details, and contact details.

JNV Admission Eligibility Criteria (Class 9, 11)
The eligibility requirements for admission in NVS Class 9, 11 are different here described separately. Check the eligibility criteria below:
For Class 11th Lateral Entry Admission 2026-27
- The student should have studied Class 10 during the 2026-27 academic year in a school recognized by the government, where a Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) operates.
- The student’s date of birth must be between June 1, 2009, and July 31, 2011. This means the student should be within this age range.
- Only Indian Nationals are allowed to apply for NVS 11th Admission 2026.
For Class 9th Lateral Entry Admission:
- The student should currently be in Class 8 at a recognized school.
- The applying students should be a resident of the same district they are applying for admission
- The district of residence and class 8th should be same of the applying student
- Their date of birth must fall between May 1, 2011, and July 31, 2013 (both these dates are included)
- Only Indian students of the same district are eligible and no other students should apply.
