Steps to Fill the VITEEE 2024 Application Form

The Vellore Institute of Technology has started the application process for the VITEEE 2024. So, now the intrusted candidates can start the application process before the last date by visiting the official website of the VIT i.e., www.viteee.vit.ac.in. The application forms will be filled in online mode. Below we have discussed a few simple steps that need to be followed at the time of filling the VITEEE 2024 application form.

VITEEE 2024 Registration

Step I: Visit the official website of the Vellore Institute of Technology i.e., www.viteee.vit.ac.in.

Step II: On the homepage look for the link that says “VIT Registration  2024”, and click on it.

Step III: Fill in all the details asked such as name, date of birth, gender, mobile number, email ID, etc,

Step IV: The authorities will send the login ID and password to the registered email ID of the candidate.

Step V: Now the candidates will have to fill out the VITEEE 2024 application form by providing all the personal information, educational details, qualifying exam, and contact details.

Documents Required to Fill VITEEE 2024 Application Form

A complete list of documents along with the prescribed size and format required while filling the VITEEE Application Form 2024 has been released by the Vellore Institute of Technology. VITEEE 2024 Eligibility Criteria

All the students who are planning to appear for the upcoming VIT Engineering Entrance Examination (VITEEE) 2024 are advised to go through the VITEEE 2024 Eligibility Criteria before filling out the VITEEE Application Form 2024. Below we have discussed the eligibility criteria for the VITEEE 2024.

Nationality

• Resident/Non-resident Indian Nationals/PIO/ OCL are eligible to apply.

• Foreign candidates: They can apply directly through the foreign category only.

Age

• He/She born on or after July 1, 2002, is eligible to apply.

• The date of birth as recorded in the High School / SSC / X Certificate will be considered authentic. Candidates should produce this certificate in original as proof of their age at the time of counseling/admission, failing which they will be disqualified.

Qualifying exam

Candidates applying for Undergraduate Engineering admission in 2024 should have secured a minimum aggregate of 60% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology in the qualifying examination (+2/Intermediate).

Candidates applying for Undergraduate Engineering admission in 2024 should have passed with a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology in the qualifying examination (+2/Intermediate) for the following categories:

• Candidates belonging to SC/ST
• Candidates hailing from Jammu and Kashmir/ Ladakh and the North Eastern states of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura. CERTIFICATE TO PROVE COMMUNITY / NATIVITY should be produced at the time of counseling, failing which they will not be considered for admission.

Marks needed in qualifying exam

• He/She must have obtained a minimum aggregate of 60% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology in the qualifying exam.

• However, the minimum percentage marks for candidates belonging to the SC/ST category, Jammu and Kashmir/ Ladakh, and the North Eastern states is 50%.

Year of passing

He/She must have passed the qualifying exam or should be appearing for it in 2024.
