The National Means cum Merit Scheme is a national-level scholarship scheme in which the respective state examination boards conduct examinations of class 8th students and all the qualifying students are rewarded with a scholarship amount of INR 12,000 per year for the class 9th to 12th studies.

Eligibility Requirement for NMMS Exam 2025

The students who are to appear in the NMMS Exam 2025 need to fulfill some of the basic requirements asked by the state examination board like:

• The student must be studying in class 8th in the current academic year
• Students from Government Primary Schools, Local Body Schools (District Panchayat/Municipality Schools), and Granted Primary Schools are eligible
• It is required that the students belonging to general and OBC category must have scored a minimum of 55% score while of the SC/ ST category require 50% score in their 7th class examinations.
