Is the JEE Main Exam Pattern Changed?
Yes, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has made two major changes in the JEE Main exam pattern. For the upcoming JEE Main exam the NTA has decided that the total number of questions in Paper 1 i.e., for BE/BTech will be 75. There will be 25 questions each from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. From now onwards there will be no longer any optional questions in section B of any subject, which means students will be required to answer each and every question in section B. NTA has made these changes to make the exam more straightforward as there won’t be a choice of questions to pick from.
JEE Main 2025 Age Limit
- The minimum age limit for JEE Main 2025 is that the applicant must be 17 years old.
- The applicant must have been born on or after October 01, 2008, to appear for the JEE Main 2025 exam.
- There is no upper age limit for the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Main.
- Student must have completed his/her class 12th or equivalent exam in 2023 or 2024.
- Students who are appearing for their Class 12th Board exams in 2025 are also considered eligible to appear for the JEE Main Exam.
