JEE Main 2025 Exam Analysis for January 22 (Shift 2) – Chemistry Section
The Chemistry exam paper was considered relatively easier for the candidates. The paper comprised of theory-based questions where fewer questions were asked from the physical chemistry. A total of 3 questions were from coordination chemistry and 2 questions were from chemical bonding. Candidates shared that the more weightage was given to the class 12 syllabus.

Aspirants said that the Physics section questions were easier than the Mathematics and Chemistry sections. The overall difficulty level of the physics section paper was considered moderate as the questions were easy to solve.

- According to Dr. Brijesh Maheshwari, Director, Allen Career Institute Pvt. Ltd., about 30% of the questions were asked from the inorganic chemistry, which the organic and physical chemistry comprised 35% each.
- The academic desk of Vidyamandir Classes mentioned that the JEE Main Paper of the Chemistry section was easy to moderate and was well balanced among the important sections.

- According to Vidyamandir Classes, the paper has a question from a deleted topic, i.e., potentiometer. There was also some concept mixing among the topics as there was a question involving unit dimensions and magnetism.
- The director of Allen Career Institute Pvt. Ltd, mentioned “One question each was asked from Units and Dimensions, Basic Mathematics and Vectors, Kinematics, Work Power and Energy, Capacitance, Sound Waves, Electromagnetic Waves and Wave Optics, Modern Physics, Fluid Mechanics, Errors in Measurements and Instruments and Semiconductors. While two questions were asked from Rotational Dynamics and three each from Electricity Heat and Thermodynamics, Geometrical Optics, Electrostatics and Current Electricity”
