What is Non-Aadhaar Declaration in JEE Main 2025?
The Non-Aadhaar Declaration in JEE Main 2025 is for students who did not use their Aadhaar Card when registering. These students need to fill out a form to confirm that their application for JEE Main 2025 session 1 is valid. According to JEE Main 2025 FAQs, using an Aadhaar number during registration was optional.
However, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has advised all students to update their Aadhaar details to make the identity check at the exam centre easier. This helps confirm their identity quickly. Submitting the declaration form is important to avoid any problems on exam day and ensure the registration is complete and correct. It helps students have a smooth exam experience. NTA officials may mark a candidate as suspicious for the following reasons:
- The candidate does not have an Aadhaar Card.
- The candidate’s Aadhaar Card has not been verified.
Recently, NTA noticed mistakes in the photos uploaded by applicants for JEE Main 2025. They asked candidates to fix the errors in their images. To do this, candidates were allowed to upload new photos according to the required guidelines between January 16 and 17, 2025. This step was taken to ensure that the photographs meet the specifications set for the exam application.
