The National Law University, Delhi that is to conduct the All India Legal Entrance Test (AILET) at various recognized examination centers has released a set of guidelines to be followed by the candidates who are to appear in the exam. All the students need to understand that to maintain the decorum of the AILET Exam 2025 which is to be held on December 08, 2024, the NLU Delhi has shared the instructions and guidelines which are mandatory to be followed by each and every candidate.
AILET Exam Day Guidelines 2025
- All the candidates are advised to reach the exam center a minimum of 1.30 hours (One and a Half hours) before the exam timings to identify the Seating Place in the Seating Plan displayed and avoid crowding at a particular location at the Entrance Test Centre
- No candidate will be permitted to enter the Examination Hall/Room 15 minutes after the start of the entrance test, i.e., at 2.15 pm
- All the candidates need to note that they can only carry the following set of items with them inside the examination hall:
- Blue/ Black Ball Point Pen
- Admit Card
- Any valid Photo I.D. Proof and photographs
- Transparent Water Bottle
- Candidates must carry their own Blue/ Black Ball Point Pen etc., as no candidates will be allowed to share any items inside the examination hall
- No candidates can carry any of the prohibited items inside the examination hall. The list of blacklisted items includes cell phones, or electronic gadgets, including digital watches, mobile phones, Bluetooth devices, earphones, pagers, health bands, or calculators, in the Examination Hall/Room, etc.
- All the candidates need to carry their AILET Admit Card 2025 with them to get entry into the examination hall
Guidelines Regarding OMR Response Sheet and Question Booklet:
- The plastic envelope containing the Question Booklet and OMR Response Sheet should only be opened after 2:00 P.M.
- All the instructions printed on the Question Booklet and OMR Response sheet are clearly visible to the candidates via the plastic envelope and therefore, candidates must read all the instructions carefully before opening the envelope
- After opening the plastic envelope candidates must first check all the pages and questions are printed properly and if there is any issue with the question paper or the OMR Response Sheet then the same should be reported immediately to the exam invigilator
- It is to be noted by the candidates that in case they make any mistake while filling any answer of any particular in the OMR Response Sheet then no additional sheet will be provided and the candidate will have to correct them on the same OMR sheet
- The candidates need to use only Black/ Blue Ball Point Pen for marking their responses on the OMR sheet
- It is important to note that the AILET marking scheme follows a negative marking scheme where the candidates will be awarded 1 mark for each correct answer while the same will be deducted with 0.25 marks for every wrong answer.
