The Directorate of Education, Delhi, has started the EWS admission 2024-25 in private schools. The application forms are live at edudel.nic.in. The deadline for the submission of Delhi EWS application form 2024-25 is May 15, 2024.

As per the guidelines given by the Directorate of Education, Delhi, all the private schools have to keep 25% of their seats reserved for the students of the EWS category, disadvantaged groups, and children with special needs (CWSN). The seat allotment for all these seats is conducted by following a computerized lottery system.

Eligibility Criteria for Delhi EWS Admission 2024-25

The students applying for Delhi EWS Admission 2024-25 need to fulfill the conditions listed below:

• For EWS and DG admission in preschool or nursery classes, the student’s age must be between 3 and 5 years;
• For the students of the CWD or CWSN category, the age limit for admission into pre-school or nursery class is 3 to 7 years;
• The students of the EWS and DG categories seeking admission into pre-primary or KG classes need to be between 4 and 6 years of age;
• The students of the CWS and CWSN categories seeking admission into pre-primary or KG classes need to be between 4 and 8 years of age;
• For primary or class 1 admissions, students of EWS and DG categories should be between 5 and 7 years old;
• The age limit for the students of CWS and CWSN categories seeking admission into primary or class 1 courses is 5 to 9 years;
• The applying students must be a regular resident of Delhi;
• To avail of the benefits of the EWS category, the family income of the student must not exceed INR 2.5 lakh per annum;
