The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) has finally released the HPBOSE Class 12th Revised Result 2025 at its official website. As per reports, a big mistake was found in checking the HP Board 12th exam papers, especially in the English subject. Because of this error, many students got the wrong marks. Following corrections made by the board, the overall pass percentage of the HPBOSE 12th students has improved from 83.16% to 88.64%. As the revised results have been released, students can now check the newly updated version of their class 12th results by simply visiting the official website, i.e., www.hpbose.org, using their roll number as the login credential.

After finding an error in the evaluation of the English subject, Pundir urged the Chief Minister, Education Minister, and Board Secretary conducted a re-evaluation of the answer sheets, quickly corrected the mistake, and released a new, updated version of the HP BOSE 12th Result. This mistake caused a lot of confusion and worry among students and parents. Thankfully, the board acted fast to fix the problem and clear the doubts. As per the HPBOSE Class 12th Revised Result 2025 data, this year, a total of 76,315 students have successfully cleared the HPBOSE Class 12 exam, which is 5,724 more than the previous count of 71,591.

What was the Error in the HPBOSE 12th Result 2025?

A shocking twist shook the HPBOSE Class 12 board exams this year! Just a day before the English exam on March 8, chaos broke out when the wrong question paper bundle was opened in Chuwari (Chamba district). Instead of the Class 10 paper, the Class 12 English paper was mistakenly distributed. The board quickly cancelled the exam and rescheduled it, but the real mess came later. While preparing results, the marks from the cancelled exam were wrongly used!

This led to strange score patterns that surprised both students, parents and teachers. Even toppers who scored full marks in other subjects got just 80 or 90 in English. Dr. Mamaraj Pundir from the All India National Educational Federation said, “How can a topper drop marks only in English?” Students demanded answers, justice, and proper re-evaluation of their results.
