NIRF Ranking 2023 Out, Top Ranking Colleges and Universities in India

NIRF Ranking 2023: The Minister of State for Education and External Affairs, Rajkumar Ranjan Singh released the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) Ranking 2023 at www.nirfindia.org. The colleges and institutes have been ranked based on four categories namely Overall, Colleges, Universities and Research Institutions. The ranking has also been done based on subject domains such as Engineering, Management, Pharmacy, Law, Medical, Architecture and Planning, Dental, Agriculture and Allied Sectors.

NIRF Ranking 2023

NIRF Rankings are prepared by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) and are released every year to help students make decisions about their choice of colleges and also to improve the quality of education. This year, 8,686 institutes took part in the NIRF Ranking which is expected to skyrocket in the upcoming years. As per the NIRF Ranking 2023 released, IIT Madras has maintained its top position in the overall engineering college category. NIRF Ranking 2023 Top 10 Ranks

The 1st rank in the Overall Category of the NIRF Ranking 2023 has been bagged by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras followed by the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bengaluru which got the 2nd position.

NIRF Ranking 2023 Top Universities

According to the NIRF Ranking 2023 University Category,  Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bengaluru has been ranked 1st and has also bagged the 2nd position in the overall category. The 2nd position in the university category has been given to Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU).

NIRF Ranking 2023 Top Colleges

According to the NIRF Ranking 2023 under the category of Top Colleges of India, Miranda House has got the 1st position and the Hindu College has been ranked 2nd. Both the top 2 colleges are from the Capital State of the Nation, Delhi.

NIRF Ranking 2023- Top Engineering Institutes

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras has secured the 1st position in the category of top engineering institutes of India under the NIRF Ranking 2023. The 2nd position has been bagged by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi whereas the 3rd position has been given to the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay.

NIRF Ranking 2023- Top Management Institutes

Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad has emerged out to be the best institute in India for Management courses and has been given 1st rank under the NIRF Ranking 2023. The 2nd rank has been given to the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bangalore and the 3rd rank has been bagged by the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Kozhikode.

NIRF Ranking 2023- Top Pharmacy Colleges

The top-ranked college as per the NIRF Ranking 2023 under the category of Top Pharmacy Colleges is the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research. The 2nd rank has been given to Jamia Hamdard whereas the Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) Pilani has bagged the 3rd rank.

NIRF Ranking 2023- Top Medical Colleges

All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) is ranked 1st among the Top Medical Colleges of India according to the NIRF Ranking 2023. The 2nd rank has been allotted to Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research whereas Christian Medical College has been ranked 3rd.

NIRF Ranking 2023- Top Research Institutions

Under the category of Top Research Institutions of India, the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bengaluru has been ranked 1st through the NIRF Ranking 2023. Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras has been ranked 2nd and Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi has got the 3rd rank.

NIRF Ranking 2023- Top Law Colleges

Amongst the Top Law Colleges of India, the National Law School of India University has been ranked 1st as per the NIRF Ranking 2023. The 2nd rank has been bagged by National Law University (NLU) and Nalsar University of Law got the 3rd rank.

NIRF Ranking 2023- Top Architecture Institutes

IIT Roorkee has emerged as the best Architecture Institute in India and has been ranked 1st by NIRF. National Institute of Technology (NIT) Calicut has been ranked 2nd as per the NIRF Ranking 2023.

NIRF Ranking 2023- Top Dental Institutes

The Top 5 Dental Institutes of India according to the NIRF Ranking 2023 have been tabulated below. Saveetha Institute of Medical and Technical Sciences has been ranked 1st followed by Manipal College of Dental Sciences which got the 2nd rank.

NIRF Ranking 2023- Top Agriculture and Allied Institutes

Indian Agricultural Research Institute has been ranked 1st under the category of Top Agriculture and Allied Institutes as per the NIRF Ranking 2023. The 2nd rank has been allotted to National Dairy Research Institute, Karnal whereas the 3rd rank is bagged by Punjab Agricultural University.

NIRF Ranking 2023- Top Innovation Institutes

According to the NIRF Ranking 2023, the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur has bagged the 1st rank in the category of Top Innovation Institutes of India.
