Suggestions Made by the Expert Committee for NEET 2025 Exam
The expert committee that has submitted its report to the Supreme Court has made multiple suggestions that can make the NEET 2025 exam a safer score option for aspiring students. Some of the changes referred by the committee are:
- The expert committee has suggested the conduction of examinations in a hybrid model in which the students will be marking their answers on the traditional OMR sheets but their question papers will be delivered via a secured electronic device
- Another recommendation of the committee is to conduct the NEET Exam at multiple stages which will give students a fair chance and will also help the authorities to pinpoint the irregularities
- The committee has pointed out the need for a foolproof data security system as it is one of the most crucial factors in stopping the exam paper leak. With strengthened data security systems the question papers will be transmitted to the examination centres just before the start of the exam minimizing the risk of any lapse
- One of the recommendations made by the committee is to reduce the number of private examination centers as the security standard at these centers is lower than what is offered at the government-run or AICTE-authorized centers
- To make all these suggestions functional the biggest requirement that the NTA has is to have more manpower, therefore, the committee recommended the NTA to employ more employees who can help simplify complex tasks.
