JEE Main Exam 2026 – NTA to Release Session 1 & 2 Schedule Soon

The National Testing Agency, which is the conducting body for the Joint Entrance Examination (Main) is to release the complete schedule for the JEE Main Exam 2026 at its official website. All the aspirants who are studying in class 12th and are looking forward to get admission into engineering courses must start preparing for the exam by learning all the topics mentioned in the JEE Main Syllabus 2026.

In the article below, we have shared the tentative schedule for the JEE Main Exam 2026 so that all the aspirants can check it and start preparing for the phase 1 and phase 2 of the exam accordingly.

JEE Main Exam 2026

The Joint Entrance Examination – Main (JEE Main) is one of India’s most important national-level engineering entrance exams. Conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), it serves as the gateway for admission to undergraduate engineering (B.E. / B.Tech), architecture (B.Arch), and planning (B.Planning) programs in National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), and other centrally funded technical institutions (CFTIs).

Also, the JEE Main Exam is a gateway for the eligible students to appear for the JEE Advanced Exam, which serves as the path towards getting admission to the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs).

JEE Main 2026 Session Wise Exam Dates

The JEE Main 2026 Exam will be conducted by the NTA is 2 session providing aspirants with an additional opportunity to score higher in the exam. The 1st session of JEE Main Exam 2026 is expected to be conducted by the NTA in January 2026 while the session 2 of the exam will be conducted in the April 2026. The official dates for  the exam conduction are yet to be announced while the expected dates are listed below in the table:
