NEET Counselling 2023: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is making final preparations to release NEET Seat Allotment Result 2023 for the students who have successfully registered for Round 1 NEET Counselling 2023. NEET Counselling 2023
Candidates are advised to follow a set of procedures to participate in NEET Counselling 2023 which include registration, choice filling, and payment of the fee. The allotment of seats in the medical and dental colleges will be done through the declaration of NEET Seat Allotment Result 2023. The MCC has announced a complete schedule NEET UG Counselling 2023 for all rounds where the allocation of seats for 15% All India Quota (AIQ) in government colleges and 85% state Quota in deemed universities such as ESIC/AFMS, AIIMS, JIPMER, and BSc Nursing programs will be performed. Candidates who have already registered for MCC NEET Counselling 2023 round1, but did not get any seat allotted are not required to register again.
NEET Seat Allotment Result 2023
The National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) grants admission to about 99,313 MBBS, 27,698 BDS, 52,720 AYUSH, and 603 BVSc & AH seats, in 542 and 313 medical and dental colleges. On the grounds of the NEET score and various factors, the candidate’s seat in the desired college/university is decided through MCC NEET 2023 Counselling. Four rounds namely round 1, round 2, mop-up round, and stray vacancy round will be held to facilitate NEET UG Counselling 2023.

NEET Counselling 2023 – State Wise
It should be noted that during NEET counselling 2023, 15 % of AIQ quota seat allocations are conducted by MCC. The remaining 85% of seats will be filled through the NEET UG 2023 state counselling process of the respective state. Admission to various private colleges in a state happens only through the state counselling process of that respective state.

Steps to Register for NEET UG Counselling 2023
The following are the steps involved in NEET Counselling 2023 process conducted by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). Qualified candidates are required to undergo each step in getting shortlisted for admission to the college of their choice. The steps are listed below:
Step 1: Registration for NEET Counselling 2023
The very first step in the MCC NEET UG Counselling 2023 is the registration process, in which qualified and eligible candidates register themselves at the official website www.mcc.nic.in. Details such as NEET roll number, registration number, name, mother’s name, and date of birth are to be filled in online. Candidates can follow the below-mentioned steps in pointers to complete NEET UG Counselling 2023 Registration process.
- Visit the official website, www.mcc.nic.in
- Click on the UG medical tab displayed on the homepage.
- Scroll down to click on the link ‘new registration’ from the candidate activity board.
- Input the required details, counselling, NEET UG Roll number, password, and security pin, and then click on ‘sign in’
- Start filling out the application form and complete the fee payment
- Download and save the confirmation page for future reference
Step 2: NEET 2023 Counselling Fee payment
Upon filling out the online registration form, candidates should make fee payments promptly to complete the registration process successfully. The counselling fees and security fees have to be paid, wherein the counselling fee is a non-refundable amount whereas the security fee is refundable on the basis of the seat allotted to the candidates. The fee should be paid only via online payment mode using a credit or debit card.

Step 3: Choice filling for NEET Counselling 2023
In this step, candidates are allowed to make a dummy sheet to fill in their dream colleges of interest. Candidates should log in to the official website using registered credentials and prioritize the preferred choices available from the list of colleges or courses from the choice filling section. The choices made by the aspirants are saved and locked before the scheduled date and time and print out could be taken for future reference.
Step 4: NEET 2023 Seat Allotment
This step takes place in four rounds such as Round 1, Round 2, Mop-up, and Stary vacancy round. The seat allotment letters are to be downloaded by candidates as and when MCC releases them. Candidates should also note that free exit is available in the first round, while a forfeiture exit is available in the second round.
Step 5: Reporting to Allotted College
This is the final step in NEET UG Counselling 2023 process in which candidates must report to the designated college or university being allotted to them. The candidates are required to submit their original documents which are mentioned below during reporting.

NEET UG Counselling 2023 Eligibility
The candidates who got ‘qualified’ status in NEET 2023 and who met the minimum cut-off specified are eligible to take part in NEET UG Counselling 2023. To take part in NEET Counselling 2023, candidates need to fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria as mentioned below.
- Candidates qualifying in NEET 2023 are eligible to apply for counseling.
- On the basis of the merit list released by MCC, all the listed candidates, including those from J & K can take part in 15% AIQ Counselling.
