CBSE Announces Registration Guidelines 2024-25
Central Board of Secondary Education has recently proposed some CBSE Registration Guidelines 2024 for the students of classes 10 and 12 who are going to appear for the board exams this year. The guidelines have been released for students, principals and parents for the submission of class 10 and class 12 registration forms for the upcoming 2024 board exams. The principals and authorities of CBSE schools in the country have been instructed to ensure that students sponsored are their regular, bonafide students and that none of the bonafide student’s name is left unregistered. The board also announced that students should not be from unauthorised and unaffiliated schools as per CBSE Class 10 and 12 Registration guidelines 2024.
As per provisions of exam by-laws, the schools and principals should also ensure that all students are eligible and qualified to get admitted to classes 9 and 11 as these students will be appearing for their board exams of classes 10 and 12 respectively in the next subsequent year. The board has also notified that students must have cleared all subjects of class 10 from a recognised school education board to get admitted to standard 11.
As per CBSE Registration Guidelines 2024, all CBSE schools in the country must make sure to feed the information on the OASIS portal and also enter the full names of the candidates, mother and father or guardian. To avoid any confusion or problems in future, the board has advised to avoid the usage of Abbreviations, as informed by the CBSE Board.
The school principals must also ensure that the total number of students sponsored by the schools should be in proportion to the number of teachers that have been employed in the school. This is to ensure that the teacher ratio is adequate and sufficient to teach and train the student population for their board exams.
