NEET Result 2021, Expected NEET 2021 Result Date

NEET Result 2021: NTA NEET Result will be published on the official website @neet.nta.nic.in tentatively after a month of the exam date. As the NEET 2021 Exam is on 12 September 2021, so the result can be expected by the 2nd week of October 2021. This year, 15.97 lakh aspirants students have registered for NEET 2021 for 42055 seats, which is quite tough competition to crack. The students after appearing in the exam anxiously wait for the result announcement to know whether they get admission to their preferred course or have to try again.  

NEET Result 2021

National-Eligibility-cum-Entrance-Test (NEET-UG) is a national level entrance test that is organized by National Testing Agency for admission into MBBS and BDS courses. The students after qualifying NEET 2021 will be allotted seats in the best medical colleges. Through NEET 2021, 15% AIQ seats, 85% State Quota seats of MBBS, BDS, BUMS, BAMS, BHMS, B.V.Sc, etc courses will be filled. How to Check NEET Result 2021

Step 1: Visit the official website of NEET at neet.nta.nic.in

Step 2: Click on National-Eligibility-cum-Entrance-Test [NEET(UG) 2021] Result.

Step 3: Enter your NEET credentials – Roll No., Date of Birth, and Security PIN, and then submit it after verifying the entered details.

Step 4: NEET Result will be displayed on the screen.

Step 5: Download and take a printout of NTA NEET Result & Score Card.

NEET Score Card will be issued to all the students who appeared in NEET Exam. The students can download their NEET 2021 Score Card by using their registration number. The sample of the NEET Score Card has been attached below.

NEET 2021 Result: Tie Breaker Rule 

A tie is defined as ‘when two or more candidates score the same marks in the NEET exam’. In such a case, the authorities apply the tie-breaking rules to allot the rank to each candidate. 

Biology Marks: Candidates with higher marks in Biology will be preferred.

Chemistry Marks: If still tie remains then candidates with higher marks in chemistry will be preferred.

Less Incorrect Questions: If the above 2 tie-breaking methods are unable to break the tie then the fewer number of wrong answers will be taken into consideration.

Age Factor: If all three above method fails, then the candidates older in age will be preferred for merit ranking.

NEET Qualifying Percentile Score & Marks

NEET Cut Off is the minimum mark required to get admission to medical colleges. NTA releases category-wise NEET Cut Off along with the declaration of results. NEET Cut off will be released for 2 quotas– All India Quota and State Level Quota. Only the top 15% scorers in NEET 2021 will be allowed to participate directly in the NEET counselling process under the 15% All India Quota. NEET 2021 Merit List

A common NEET Merit List 2021 for all categories will be prepared according to the NEET 2021 Result. Based on the merit list, the qualified candidates will be allowed to attend the counselling sessions. Each state will be preparing its own category-wise merit list based on AIR. The merit list will be issued on the official website @neet.nta.nic.in.
