The NIT Jamshedpur conducted the NIMCET Exam with the objective to shortlist and finalize students for admission into the MCA course offered by NITs at Agartala, Allahabad, Bhopal, Jamshedpur, Kurukshetra, Raipur, Surathkal, Tiruchirappalli, and Warangal.

All the qualifying students based on their NIMCET Scorecard 2025 will then be eligible for the further processes of admission. Steps to Check NIMCET Result 2025

Step 1: Visit the official website for the National Institute of Technology Master of Computer Applications Common Entrance Test at https://nimcet.admissions.nic.in/

Step 2: On the home page of the website, look for the latest news section

Step 3: In this section, find and click on the link for NIMCET Result 2025

Step 4: On clicking the link, a new window will open on the screen containing the NIMCET Result login form

Step 5: Fill in the form with the User ID and Password

Step 6: Process the form, and the NIMCET Result 2025 will open on the screen

Step 7: Check and download the NIMCET Score Card 2025 for later use.

NIMCET Result 2025 Tie-Breaking Criteria

In case two or more students score equal marks in the NIMCET Result 2025, tie-breaking criteria will be used to resolve existing ties between the candidates. Ranks will be allotted based on the following order of preference-

1. 1st priority will be given to the candidate securing higher marks in mathematics.
2. Next priority will be given to a student with higher marks in logical reasoning.
3. Candidates having higher marks in computer awareness will be prioritised more.
4. If the tie still exists then students older in age will be prioritised.

Note- In case a student scores zero or negative marks in mathematics or overall, he/she will be disqualified from the NIMCET 2025 Exam.
