Are There Any Changes in the CUET Exam Pattern 2025?

The UGC chief, Mamidala Jagadesh Kumar, has shared a few major changes for the CUET 2025 exam. According to the new changes, the CUET UG exam will now be held only in CBT mode, and all students will have 60 minutes to complete it. Students can choose up to five subjects, and the number of questions has been reduced to 37, from 63.

Earlier, the exam lasted 2 hours, but last year it was shortened to 1 hour 45 minutes. This year onwards, the NTA has decided that the CUET PG 2025 exam will be even shorter, lasting only 1.5 hours (90 minutes). These changes are meant to make the exam easier and more focused.
